I am so happy with the books I got this month! I ordered more online, only they haven’t arrived yet. I’ll just include them in my May book haul.
I’m in love with the new covers they are designing for classics, especially the Vintage Classics. A few days ago, I was wandering in the bookstore when my eyes suddenly fell on one book. The book. I have been telling myself that I need to read more classics. I looked some up online and one book, in particular, caught my attention. Anne Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. It has almost 1000 pages! I won’t read this one as my first classic, but I definitely want to have started it this year. And you’ll definitely see a lot of pictures with this book on my Instagram account because the cover is absolutely stunning.
I’m really proud of myself for not buying that many books after my latest purchase. All the books I’m going to show you I’ve bought at the beginning of the month. After that, I haven’t purchased anything. And of course, I’m very happy with the books!
It’s the end February and thus also time for another book haul! Book hauls are one of my favorite posts to read on other people’s blogs. I learn about new books and end up buying more the next month. This month I did pretty well, I restrained myself from buying too many books. But look at the books I bought. Gosh, am I excited!
Only two more days and the first month of 2017 is over. I can’t believe how fast time is going! Quite a lot has already happened in 2017 and not all has been good. I want to send my love and support to everyone who has it difficult at the moment. You are never alone!
On a more happy note, I’ve accumulated some awesome books this January. I never expect to end up with so many new books each month. But I am not complaining ;). Let’s take a look!
It may already be the 5th of January, but New Year’s Eve feels like it was yesterday, doesn’t it? I just can’t believe we are not 2016 anymore! I love the feeling I get when the new year comes around, that feeling of a new chance. I know, I know, that was cheesy. But it’s true, though. I want to make the coming year better than the one before and I’m really motivated to do so.
November has been a very good month, book-wise. Every November, a Belgian company organizes the Boekenbeurs (a Dutch book fair) in Antwerp and my best friend and I decided to go this year. We had the greatest time! Being surrounded by thousands of books is just amazing, isn’t it? Plus, there were great deals on the books. It was also my birthday this month and I wanted to treat myself. What better way than to go to a book fair? Here are the books I got:
I’ve decided to spoil myself with some books once more. Because why not? And I’m now officially in my last year of high school!
I’ve purchased 5 books this month and I’m really excited to read all of them! Two of them are coming in the mail tomorrow, but I’m going to count them in, because I ordered them in June. I also got one ebook for review!
Time is flying by so fast. Only a month and it’s no school for me! I’m really looking forward to just sit in the sun and enjoying a good book. And this month I made sure I would have some books to read. I usually don’t buy a lot of books in a month that makes it worthwhile posting monthly book hauls, but this month I was feeling very ambitious and I just couldn’t help myself… There is no shame at all. 🙂
Ah, I’m so excited to read all these books!
Let me know if you liked these books if you already read them, or if you are as excited as me to read them.
